Particle and water contamination of used oil is the most deadly source of contamination. It generates abnormal wear of the equipment and malfunction of the hydraulic system. Particularly, water contamination brings abnormal wear of the equipment caused by corrosion and destruction of the lubricating film. Also, water contamination badly affects the lubricating oil itself and additives, so it must be strictly controlled and removed.

Also, oxidation speeds up degradation of oil and generates varnish. Varnish blocks oil flow and destroy lubricating film formed between drive part and fixed part
of the equipment. Metal to metal contact produces abnormal wear and lead to equipment failure eventually.

Lubrication Plus Oil-Mon Sensor diagnoses and monitors status of degradation, particle and water contamination of used oil in real time, which detects four factors by single sensor.
